Mount Kenya region is one of the most dynamic in terms of it’s influence on Kenyan politics. Every politician or political parties would want to have it in their pockets. The region carries the biggest chunk of the country’s vote. It also believed to be one of the most richest parts of the country it is for these reasons that everyone is scrambling to win their hearts . Some would say, if you win in Central region you’ve won the election though that is debatable. Today as we speak, for the first time in decades the region has no single promising candidate in the coming 2022 August General elections. The biggest question is who will win there trust? Is it DP Ruto or Former PM Raila? This is yet to be seen.
